About MeJo Adamson’s one act plays have been performed in Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii, New York and British Columbia.
She is a published short story, article, and poetry writer. Twice her poetry was accepted for the Poetry Bus Project in Seattle, WA. "She was the Kind" won The James Sunwall Prize for new comedy, at The Acrosstown Repertory Theatre, Gainesville, Florida “Teotwawki” is featured in The Best Women’s Monologue of the Millennium, Applause Books, 2007. Her plays have been excerpted in Smith & Kraus, Inc. They are: “Transformation Scene”, The Best Stage Scenes, 1996; “Doppelganger”, The Best Women’s Stage Monologues, 1996; “The Wax Cradle” The Best Women’s Stage Monologues, 1997; “Dialogue of Self & Soul” The Best Women’s Stage Monologues, 1997; “A Body Not Greatly Changed”, The Best Stage Scenes, 1997; and The Best Men’s Stage Monologues, 1999.
