Thanks Shawn! I tried to go from black and white at the beginning of the poem to bright color at the end -- I'm glad you noticed :)

Hey Shawn. You are probably right, as I remember these times when I was a child. However, I do know there aren't nearly as many people willing to throw up a friendly hand now as there were some twenty years ago. Thanks for reading my poem!
