i love poetry 

and

would it astonish 

or surprise you 

to learn that i don't 

write my pieces 

just to write and 

convey my emotions

it sometimes serves as 

a desperate cry for help 

and  

did you know when i met you 

no matter how much i love my pieces

i wouldn't write them if it weren't for you

because i love you as much as i love poetry
