A Chapter by Tina Kline

“Stacey.” Roger came toward me, concern and fear twisting his features.

The big wolf growled and increased its pace, so did the following coyotes. Dartman growled too and reached out to Roger, grabbing the much bigger man by the collar and pulling him backwards. He fell on his back. Dartman straddled him and let out a wild, high pitch scream, exposing his fangs.

Roger cried out in obvious horror and tried to throw the thinner smaller man creature off but couldn't. Dartman opened his mouth wide and struck, sinking all his sharp teeth into Roger's throat.

I stood there watching this, unmoving. The thought to go to Roger's aid never entered my mind. What I did think was how I'd be free to return to Seattle and my former fun life.

Dartman made huge slurping sounds as he drank Roger's blood. Roger kicked his legs which caught the attention of the wolf and his coyote pals. They moved in and started ripping and tearing at Roger's legs until his blood flowed from the many wounds. The wolf and coyotes lapped the blood and bit off pieces of flesh from Roger's legs and ate it. They tore his jeans into little bits and pieces.

A gruesome scene. Roger being drained and eaten by the wolf and its coyote companions. Roger I think, really did care for Stacey and she for him. Things just went wrong.

You are welcome.
Well, Stacey wanted to be rid of Roger, now she is. But what about this Dartman guy, creature, whatever it is?

Roger becomes supper and Stacey is lost to her world. I doubt she'll be bored anymore. Excellent horror story. A different sort of vampire tale.
