Chapter 21

Chapter 21

A Chapter by Tina Kline

Miss Starfire walked into her Wolf Parent’s house. Louise came out of her bedroom with a big welcoming smile on her face. “Daughter!” she greeted with her arms opened wide.

“Mom!” Miss Starfire flung herself into her Wolf Mother’s embrace.

Louise closed her arms around Miss Starfire and gave her a tight hug.

Mr. Hunter came out of his bedroom, his radiant green eyes feasting on his Wolf Sister but he held back. He sure didn’t want to but he did.

Miss Starfire saw him. “Mr. Hunter.” She greeted. I hope its easy getting him outside. She wanted to resolve their difficulty in a private quiet way, not making a big scandal out of it.

“Miss Starfire.” said Mr. Hunter. He sounded very tense.

Louise stood back as Mr. Black came into the room from the kitchen where he had been cleaning up after their meal.

“Miss Starfire. Well, how is life been treating you?” Mr. Black said, repeating a phrase he’d picked up from his Mate. A phrase she had brought with her from the Human World.

“I’m doing well.” Miss Starfire said looking at Mr. Hunter.

Mr. Hunter stared hard at her but he still kept his distance.

“Come to see your Wolf Mother?” Mr. Black asked. He looked from Miss Starfire to Mr. Hunter and back to her again.

Suddenly Miss Starfire felt really nervous. Louise felt the rising tension in the room.

“Why don’t we sit down.” said Louise.

“Just briefly.” said Mr. Black. “Mr. Hunter and I need to get to the Meeting House.”

He sat down in the chair. Louise sat beside him on the arm of the chair.

Mr. Hunter and Miss Starfire sat on the couch. Miss Starfire was desperate to end this and get Mr. Hunter outside so he and Mr. Stalker could settle things.

“So, Miss Starfire, how are you feeling?” Louise asked.

    “Oh, good.” Miss Starfire said.

Louise put her hands on her lower abdomen where her and Mr. Black’s unborn Wolf Child shifted. She smiled. “Any Wolf Baby news to tell yet?”

Miss Starfire felt her face grow hot and she was certain it was turning red. She felt embarrassed which only made her blush more. She became aware everyone was staring hard at her, especially Mr. Hunter.

“No, no Wolf Baby news!” Miss Starfire got out in a rush.

“Don’t worry sweetie, it will happen.” said Louise.

“Mr. Hunter and I need to get going.” Mr. Black stood up. He looked at Miss Starfire. “What are you up to after leaving here?”

Miss Starfire felt panicky. Mr. Hunter couldn’t leave with Mr. Black! He had to speak to Mr. Stalker or Mr. Stalker would approach her Wolf Parents. She had to think of something and do it fast.

Mr. Hunter made to stand up and Miss Starfire quickly caught a hold of his hand. “Can we talk?” she asked, looking up at her Wolf Brother.

He stared down at her out of his radiant green eyes. He felt the warmth of her hand and felt himself instantly become aroused. He caught his breath but didn’t pull his hand from hers.

Louise and Mr. Black watched her with disapproving eyes. They frowned at their Wolf Daughter.

Miss Starfire didn’t like seeing she was already getting her Wolf Parents disapproval but she was totally desperate. She kept her eyes focused on Mr. Hunter waiting for his answer.

Mr. Hunter glanced at his Wolf Parents then back at Miss Starfire. He wanted to say yes but knew his Wolf Parents would be displeased. Staring down into Miss Starfire’s off white eyes, seeing the pleading and desperation there he just couldn’t say no. He couldn’t disappoint her. “Of course.” He said.

Mr. Black and Louise made low sounds of disapproval. “I don’t think we have time for this.” Mr. Black said getting up from the chair.

“Come on Dad.” said Miss Starfire looking at her Wolf Father. “Please!”

“Miss Starfire.” said Louise. “Listen to your Wolf Father.”

“I’m a mature adult and so is Mr. Hunter. We should be able to have a conversation.” said Miss Starfire. “I’ll keep it brief. I understand he has obligations.”

Mr. Black’s frown deepened. So did Louise’s. “Okay.” said Louise. “Make it quick.”

“Outside.” said Miss Starfire. She was desperate to get Mr. Hunter and Mr. Stalker together.

Louise let out a loud sigh. She wondered what Miss Starfire was up to. She was sure something and Mr. Hunter was eager to find out and get involved.

“I’m not sure about this.” said Mr. Black. Louise put her hand on Mr. Black’s arm. He frowned but didn’t say anything.

Miss Starfire took this opportunity and pulled Mr. Hunter out the door. He didn’t really need to be pulled, he was eager to go with her. His heart was beating with excitement and he was even more aroused. He wondered what Miss Starfire was up to but hoped she wanted to get together to pleasure each other. He didn’t really think that was what this was all about but he couldn’t help his fantasy.

Mr. Black and Louise followed their Wolf Twins to the door.

“Stay in sight!” Louise called after them. She sighed as she watched Miss Starfire and Mr. Hunter rushing away from the house toward the shadowy Douglas Fir and Broadleaf Maple forest.

“I’ll follow them.” Mr. Black said.

“We’ll both follow them.” said Louise.

“We’ll both follow them.” said Mr. Black.

    “Okay, let’s go.”
