Something with a fun theme for the holiday mixed with a deep message.

A hocus here,

A pocus there,

A wicked laugh in the air,

An evil cackle bouncing off the walls

Casting a spell in surround sound

Until all the innocent children’s ears

Ring with a demonic tone.

Some will fall deaf to the sound

And some will turn it up to ten,

All depending on which way

Their soul chooses to go…

Up or down.

A great little Halloween poem with a strong message. Good and Evil reside in everyone, but Evil lures from its black soul costumed in light, while Good often comes packaged unappealingly. I really like the way your poem has highlighted this and gently warned against the alluring presentation by which Evil comes to us.

Very much in the topic of Halloween! Witch way sounds very playful and naughty, as games of life sometimes, but with some black elements. Witches even so scary for some people, have actually funny side, which you catch so well here. And your description is so exact, here I find the deep message definitely. :)

Woohoo... halloween fever is on! Well i must say i love this season because the cafe is loaded with tonnes of dark and creepy poem. Just my taste. Its sucha treat for me. And this poem especially told me to hush and not.laugh. may be my ears are straining to find the evil laughter. But best of all i liked the message whether we go up or down its our sole decision. There are person's who are strong and there are weak
Witch way is deceving and can affect
Which way will they go that won't be deep?
But someone with principle won't choose the left
