This is a really clever concept - using mathematical terminology to critique religious thinking is unexpected and sharp. The idea that imperfect square roots (irrational, never-ending numbers) represent the evangelical mindset is a brilliant comparison.
The main thing to work on is expansion. Right now it feels more like the seed of a poem than a complete piece. Adding more concrete imagery or examples of what specific aspects you're comparing could help readers follow your mathematical metaphor.
But the core concept here is smart and original - it's exactly the kind of unexpected comparison that makes readers stop and think.
