**Who Wins After a Year?**
*Jessy Jacob ❤️*

It was a difference people could never truly understand. Instead of trying to see it deeply, they simply called it a mistake.

The girl had seen hardship from childhood. She had grown up watching struggles closely, understanding the value of every small thing. For her, nothing was ordinary. Every rupee, every opportunity, every lesson carried meaning because she had known what it meant to live without enough.

The boy, on the other hand, had never experienced financial problems. From birth, comfort surrounded him. He never had to worry about tomorrow’s needs. Because of that, he never really learned what it meant to survive with less or to build something from nothing.

The girl knew how to use whatever she had and turn it into something meaningful. She could create value out of the smallest resource. The boy often dismissed such efforts as “not worth it.” Only later did he realize that what he called pocket money was the very amount some people used to live their entire lives.

For the girl, education was life itself. Her inquisitive mind was always searching, always learning, always growing. Knowledge was not a burden to her; it was freedom. For the boy, studies were just hurdles to cross. Exams were obstacles he simply wanted to finish and move past.

The girl believed her greatest investment was herself " her hands, her legs, her determination. She said that even a small amount, just a thousand rupees, would be enough to begin her dream. She wanted to start a school, to grow it into a trade institution that would empower many others. She was ready to invest all her earnings into it and seek investors if needed. She was determined to build her vision from scratch.

Both believed they had visionary leadership. Both believed they would succeed. But the real question was: who would win within a year?

People doubted her. How could she possibly become a millionaire in such a short time? The boy had already started with millions. Surely, he would win.

The boy’s mother said, “My son is the smartest, but my daughter-in-law is the bravest. She has the courage to take risks and the strength to recover if she fails.”

The boy’s father said confidently, “I stand with my son. Nothing can stop him from becoming a billionaire.”

And so, the challenge was set. One year. Two different beginnings. Two different mindsets.

Who would truly win?

Only time could answer.
Let us wait for the results.
