### **The Flame and the Sky**

I need a second
to breathe life into a candle’s flame�"
but you need only half a second
to put it out.

Do you call that power?
Or is it simply the ease
of doing what is wrong?

Goodness takes thought.
It takes patience,
a mind that chooses light.

Anyone can press a button.
But to build a building�"
you need hands, hearts,
and years of hope.

Yes, it was easy
to ruin a nation in minutes.

But I promise�"
from the dust of broken streets
and the shadows of fallen walls�"
we will build again.

We will build Iran
as it once stood proud,
when its wealth flowed like rivers
and the world stood in line
for the oil beneath its earth.

I have fought my own weakness.
Have you the courage
to fly beneath my sky?

My path is through
collapsed buildings
and silent ruins�"
where martyrs sleep
and the wind remembers their names.

You shed no tears for them.
Yet I still ask�"
have you truly conquered
your own darkness?

The world changes.
Time passes.

Clothes may change,
cities may fall,
but dignity stands taller
than fashion or pride.

My husband marches
among soldiers and flags,
saluting the land
that gave him breath.

And here I welcome
the captain who never bowed his head�"
who saluted only
the mother planet
that carries us all.

Tell me�"
have you ever wondered
why life blooms only on Earth?

Why not Mercury,
burning in endless fire?

Because Earth
was made to give life,
not to destroy it.

You may celebrate safely
behind your doors,
thinking the war is far away�"
thinking the flames
will never reach you.

But the truth is this:

The fate of the world
touches every home�"
even the ones
that believe they are safe.

And the flame you extinguish today
may be the light
you needed tomorrow.
