My goals

**A Life of Purpose**

My first goal is the word I once gave to my mother, my goddess. My second goal is the responsibility I carry toward my family. These two promises guide my life. I live for these goals, and completing them is the path that moves my life forward.

Many people wish to live life simply to enjoy it. But my life has often been a struggle. Whenever I solve one problem and pause for a breath, another seems to appear before me. Sometimes I feel that joy has rarely stayed with me, while tears have often found their way to my eyes.

I sometimes wonder why my life is like this. Perhaps it is because there are many things I must complete, many duties I must fulfill. Yet I remind myself that there are people whose lives are filled with even greater troubles than mine. In that thought, I find humility and strength.

I am fortunate, though, to have my husband and my son. They stand beside me like quiet shadows, following me through my struggles and supporting me in ways words cannot fully express.

Life can often be difficult, but peace comes from shaping the heart wisely. One must learn not to become obsessed with things that are beyond reach. When our desires grow endlessly, life becomes heavy and stressful.

We are limited beings, and even our desires must learn their limits. If we try to gain more through exploitation or endless craving, we only lose our peace of mind. True happiness lies in living with simplicity and contentment.

Perhaps this is what many spiritual teachers remind us:
*think less, need less, and life becomes lighter.*

In that simplicity, life becomes easier �" and perhaps, happier.
