Fruits garden and 4 guys

Fruits garden and 4 guys

A Chapter by JessyJacob

In the heart of a quiet village stood a lush fruit garden, famous for its tall mango trees. Their branches bent gently under the weight of golden, ripening mangoes, filling the air with a sweet, irresistible fragrance. It was the kind of place that tempted even the most well-behaved hearts.

But the garden was not unguarded.

Rani watched over it.

Though still in her teens, she carried herself with a fierce sense of responsibility. This garden was hers to protect, and she knew well that when mangoes ripened, so did mischief in the village.

One afternoon, as the sun stretched lazily across the sky, four boys crept toward the garden fence. Their eyes gleamed with excitement and hunger"not just for mangoes, but for the thrill of stealing them.

Among them was a boy known for his endless mischief. His laughter always arrived before trouble did.

“Today,” he whispered, “we feast like kings.”

Unaware of the eyes already watching them, they slipped inside.

Hidden behind the thick leaves, Rani stood silently, observing. She didn’t shout. She didn’t move. She simply watched.

The boys climbed the trees with clumsy urgency, plucking mangoes and tossing them down, laughing as if the garden belonged to them. Soon, they gathered beneath the shade, tearing into the fruit, juice dripping down their hands as they celebrated their stolen victory.

That was when Rani stepped forward.

“Who are you?” her voice rang out, sharp and steady. “And why are you stealing from my garden?”

The boys froze. Mangoes dropped from their hands. Their laughter vanished.

Rani crossed her arms. “You have two choices"pay for what you’ve taken, or take my punishment.”

They looked at each other. Money? None of them had any.

So punishment it was.

“Wall chair,” she commanded.

Reluctantly, they pressed their backs against a tree and bent their knees as if sitting on an invisible chair. The mischievous boy tried to grin through it, but even he felt the strain.

Rani stood before them like a guard, watchful and unyielding.

Time passed.

The sun softened. The breeze grew gentle.

And slowly… Rani’s eyes began to close.

She leaned back slightly, her guard lowering just enough"and soon, she drifted into a light sleep.

The boys exchanged glances.

“This is our chance,” one of them whispered.

They began to straighten, ready to run.

But the mischievous boy paused.

A spark lit up in his eyes.

“You gave us punishment,” he muttered with a smirk, stepping quietly toward Rani. “Now it’s my turn.”

He leaned closer, reaching out as if to tease her"perhaps to pinch her ear and claim a small victory.

But before his fingers could touch"

Rani’s eyes snapped open.

In a flash, she caught him.

“What were you trying to do?” she demanded, gripping him firmly.

The boy stumbled over his words, but before he could escape, she pinched his nose tightly, her eyes blazing with both anger and amusement.

“Fifty sit-ups,” she ordered. “Now.”

The others burst into nervous laughter, quickly returning to their positions.

The mischievous boy groaned, but even he couldn’t hide a smile as he began his punishment.

And Rani?

She stood tall once more beneath the mango trees"guardian of the garden, undefeated.
