Where I am from?

Where I am from?

A Chapter by JessyJacob

My first poetry lesson
Say less to convey more
in reverse to prose where you tell less with more words
Brainstorm and then organize
look for words that better suit
modern poets are writing without a meter and rhythm

I tried my first with lesson

Where I am from?

I am from coal mines and smoke weather

Grew up with goats and cows in my backyard

I played all my evenings with my cousins in severe hot sunny days

I from a family who eat chicken, lamb but not pork

I grew up bunking school and sometimes I prayed let me fall sick so no school

My mother taught me to be serious in books, and no boys in mind

I raised through learning chores helping my mom

In college I got ragged and get fear to see senior boys

I worked hard to became software but fell in the chemi industry

My traditional look poses questions Am I vegetarian

I watch movies to seek a lesson my hobbies playing with designs of rangoli

And colors on floor

I from a town but happened to taste the smell and sights of roads in Metropolitan

I traveled the parts of world and saw myself in every corner of the world

Through midlife I felt I lived my life but my constant inspiration came through my husband and my son to live more.
