Hunger !

My poetry lesson

HUNGER

 

Hunger, a beautiful term as well one of the toughest word

 when you don’t have food to eat.

 

Hunger to me and every other it is the feeling of stomach

that aches and craves to eat anything, and in that hunger

 if we are given lettuce leaves you feel the sweet taste of

leaves to eat completely without leaving it.

 

Hunger I faced it from near where I didn't had food for 2 to 3 days,

When I was suffering with severe financial crunch

Hunger, my son too saw from near when I couldn’t feed him 3 times and belly full

 

Hunger taught me to realize the pain in stomach that we sometimes cry, fill it with water,

the pain which street beggars face who can't earn plate meals

 

Hunger inspired me to help the people who can't afford daily food, to start food donation,

Under the name of my mom in law, which I started 6 months back and I wish to do more

Till my last breath cooking with my own hands and serving the people.
