Walk without becoming a victimA Poem by Linda alexander
She was walking through the silence of the beautiful green meadow
The daffodils were waving their heads fully welcoming her The blue jays seemed really content, did not even fly in to the sky as if they scared She was very comfortable and enjoying the beautiful partially sunny weather She was walking with confidence too, as she was totally content with her She is even in harmony with the nature, even with fragile scary blue jays There stood few shadows on the very lower level of the meadow Yes, surprisingly those shadows were similar to her called humans She looked at those shadows with a totally strange face It was so hard to even visualize to be in harmony with those shadows It was living human shadows too, acting as lifeless dead souls They were trying hard to transform humans to materialistic machines They invited her too, yes a very genuine but cold invitation She was way smarter than those shadows, no way she wants to be another victim She kept on walking, left the shadows in the same exact place she met at the first time She continued journey to meet at least few shadows with life She simply walked very casually, enjoying the breeze already kissing her
