Simple life is so rich in values, meanings and purpose, empty life as ponds of desperation, shallow life is very hard to accept, some lives so easy and vulnerable to challenges of life,

So simple,  and so rich

So empty,  and so sad

So shallow, and  hard to swallow

So fragile, and hard to safeguard

My life has been pretty much a roller coaster with various ups and downs but lately I've been of the opinion the it's good just to be breathing and I know that spring is just around the corner and I have always yearned for a simple life but I don't think there is another soul that knows what that means; your poem is uncomplicated and peaceful and reminds me of the pond in my back yard. Thank you

Thank you for stopping, we all have roller coaster similar phase in one way or other, keeping dreams for something above is all matters, your poems are so complicated , tried to write a review, could not get it, the one with words scattered all over the page with some rain pouring, did not get it fully, ego did not allow me to ask poet what exactly poet mean.
