Compartment syndrome is a limb- and life-threatening condition which occurs after an injury, when there is insufficient blood supply to muscles and nerves due to increased pressure within extremity

Wish did not fall, now longing for a slit

No blood flow, so swollen and painful

Poor nerve is crushed underneath

If waits longer, limb may even die

Bring the number eleven scalpel

Make a two inch slit of dream, hope and love

It may take time for it to heal 

Rather not prefer walking with dead limb

Pain is a symptom of something wrong. Pain is a symptom of healing. The cut reaps pain when we are severed. Skin repairing itself is a painful process to. But doesn't it make us appreciate comfort? And doesn't it spawn compassion when we see it in others?

well said, fully true, agree with you totally, but in this situation fasciotomy is is the only way to help the person as it is emergency, fasciotomy means make a slit so that blood supply can be regained, this way person heals most beautifully and can escape from life threatening event too and loss of limb, most pf the time only choice, platstic surgeon, small knife size, this all part of excellent compassion and care, thank you so much for review, I tried to follow your example in writing, first attempt

anaesthesia, pain medications, TLC from nursing staff all will be there, now a days pain in adults and children taken care of excellent ways, so person will be benefiting in every way, the situation prior to slit is the worst one

Thank you Sami, I tried to follow the poet Xavier Silverton, who gave me this idea when reading his poems, converting motor vehicle accidents to beautiful poems, so I thought why I can not convert a medical condition to poem, is this an OK experiment or no, thank you for the review
