Was watching you

This poem for a friend who I knew for sometime still could not help that person as it was beyond my helping range

Knew you for some time not sure why we met

Really wished to give a helping hand always

Tried so hard had huge limitations hindered

Few best wishes and prayers for your journey

You were talking to some one over the telephone

Your face was gleaming as pink rose in crimson red of sun

Simply watched you and just told mind keep going

Then face turned to sky so dark and scary before hurricane

Yes the phone,
The wave of emotion
The way it can rise and the fall, in a call,
or the Blue lights in a rear view.
The lighted messenger, Police Black and white, in my pasture,
No reason , No good reason could come to mind, Bad news.
But oh how could it be so so bad, Big a*s storm, Tossing thunder 'n pines rag doll style.
Now still, hollow, Nearly three years past.

Hmmm. An interesting twist of plot. Your conclusion, with a face so dark and scary before the hurricane really emphasizes the storm that was going inside your heart.
