Insensitivity to the domain

Part of the world slept as if nothing happened

They acted as nothing is happening

They pretended like nothing will happen

All of them were insensitive to their domain

Few kept on fighting for justice for world

Great souls ransomed their lives for the humanity

Astonishing men dreamed so high and vast as horizon

All of them were too sensitive to the domain

I acted as so insensitive or neutral to all

Did I stay in the middle not to the sides

I kept completely silent when injustice prevailed

Yes I did until I realize I was a liar to my soul

I believe this is true to some extent.Insensitivity to the world is a concept I got almost an year ago after listening to Fr, Bobby Jose Kattikadu's speech, orallude purogamanam poornamakunnathu ayalude thurayillulla ellavarudeyoum purogamanam sadhyamakumbozhannu, from a speech at St, Vincent de Paul church, Elmont in 2013, which means the progress of one is full when the progress of neghbouring area is also complete

Well I would even go as afar as the lack of empathy for that who walks beside you. I am not sure about where youare but caring for another has become a novelty. So then having the right feelings which would propell the right kind of action is even tougher. I appreciate what is written here although I would have gone the way to make concious what remain unconcious. "Liar to your soul" sounds a bit funny to me. Following your dreams is a gift that not many can do.

A justice write need to send this to Obama!!!! Bad thing is if you did he have to read all from a teleprompt from some one else. Sorry not being political I just see not 1 thing has changed sense the desert storm war not 1 thing has changed and I don't understand why or how for that matter that a person from another country can come in this boarder. A powerful write, Linda. Some are extremists and while they might be a bit too avid about their causes, they do something about their beliefs. Sitting back and watching while things happen to you and others is a dangerous avenue to tread. If everyone does nothing, where will we be? Apathy is a dangerous thing.
