Who really directs

Who really directs

A Poem by Linda alexander

Why I do write this poem
What guides me and leads me
Do I have sense of direction
Does the supreme play a role in our goals

Sun rays raise in east to set in the west
The stars travel fore ever to reach earth
The waves of ocean voyage to kiss the land
The cozy moon light aims for lover's heart

Soft tendril of runner plant senses branch to climb
Cats aim for birds when they arrive at tree branches
Laughing springs flee for the river at mountain side
Where is my sense of direction I really wander and wonder

"Sun rays raise in east to set in the west..."

This one line contains the whole universe in few letters. You spoke very well through this line. Even the day gets started with the beginning of sun-rays & it, of course, gets ended with the same rays... in guise of sun-set. So... "Who really directs?" No one, but the oozing appeal of moon & the smashing rays of sun both're enough to direct the heart in disguise of dappling shades of new-days in everyone's life. Nice imagery! Great job!

what will remain of all of tihs when i am gone?
