The original

Way stretched and thinned out as if it may break at any minute

Never paid efforts to see the rubber band prior to all these manipulations

Kept going thinned and stronger and for some it looked thinner and fragile

The key is mistakenly believed the original is lost in the process

Decades crawled or walked way may be the seasons gave it some colors

The good years passed like the very passive traveler not enjoying perhaps

The dreams seemed like migrated to some one's nestle and mine remained empty

The original never changed but failed to reveal to my own eyes that is all folks

Inspired by the article written by Mark Manson, the writer, the benefits of travelling or similar the article said and he says the changes we undergo may be the apt ones most likely just like travelling changes our believes and attitudes the life journey of life changes you and make you the most original

Travelling,, physically, cerebrally. in any form.. moulds knowledge into more... I think you're saying. Your phrasing here and there really lifts my thoughts off my chair and beckons me into being and seeing more. Or did you, did I, did we? Chances missed, Perhaps that mystic Way was manipulated rather than stretched until hope and opportunity faded. Never to be found again. Or not?!

Tis so easy to say still in a private wee world, not see further than end of proverbial nose. Have found that even house numbers are differently shaped one country to another; that some nationals eat far too much cream and others wear roughly patched sandals, etc.etc. etc.. The differences in moving here to there, even another state or canton or county,. etc.. really does broaden knowledge and emotions to another place. Recently quoted to someone that 'we are part of every person we ever met, every place we've ever visited...

I am a pure medical person a nurse for almost 22 years, and in pediatrics last 20 years, I have no clue how come I started writing and at times I felt guilty that these readers taking their time to review what I write but after being in this site I feel I learned the language without fully knowing the alphabet, I fully agree with you every life events and persons change us without our active permission.

Writing can be, might be, often is, an escape from whatever kind of routine one has. It's a freedom to use whenever or wherever possible. And, there aren't any limites except the ones imposed by the writer! And, if a person doesn't use what's knocking at the mind's door, then, why bother to open eyes... :)

Thanks a lot for the review, each person and events we exposed to makes us change knowingly or unknowingly, so there is a new original us which is more genuine even if pleasing or unpleasing to the outside world, but going away from positive core values not great I believe.

yesterday was original, today is a new , different point in time, look at a flower yesterday, a sunset today, tomorrow can be different, it might rain, all original ,imaginative traveling can be very rewarding

Thanks a lot for the visit and the review, the original is often pictured as ourselves in the comfort zones apparently happy, life changes us in general for some it changes then drastically, I feel like the real original is the transformed one we usually hate.

travelling is something we promise ourselves and often never got to doing...just like our travels in life...we promise ourselves to go down certain roads but never quite do it...rather than the joy and excitement of traveling new enterprises...we get stuck in some kind of rut and stay there...and life gets stale---we are dreamers early on, and then become just dreamers.

Blind might have seen the most beautiful scenarios, passive traveler and active traveler differs a lot, stuck at life itself or allowing to regain momentum even at standstill moments of life can be different, I feel like irrespective of all paths all trending towards the original self and majority hate that transformation and wish to get stuck at comfortable zones, many may die even realizing that they transformed to a priceless personality.
