Death visited

Death visited

A Poem by Linda alexander

Guest arrived not in my time and uninvited
He said I have to go with him immediately
There was no choices left for me not even few minutes
I had to go with him irrespective of my wish

Dickinson in "because i could not stop for death"
talked about death coming to pick her up for a ride in his carriage...the gentleman rather than the grim reaper...
here, death is not so much the gentleman...more of an intruder...
