Where I stood

Where I stood

A Poem by Linda alexander

Pond was full of thick mud
It was pulling me towards the center
You complaining my clothes are muddy
I saved the life of mine and my loved ones

I will give you a hand brush and a canvass
There is a big palette full of paints
You can make actual stories of my carelessness
My friend I told you I was merely saving lives
