Long story short of heart and soul

I kept feeding my soul who used to chronic starvation

My body mumbled enough is enough for a while

There is a real strike going between heart and lungs

I kept asking myself which was my priority soul or vital organs

few lines that tell a tale of life for me. do you seek materialism or spiritualism? this write made me think in that direction. do you heed to the material desires or long for soulful bliss? questions galore, seeking the truth. life is that and very much a journey beyond body and mind. I am still asking myself the same questions...
I think the soul wins in the end...

the heart beats for a time and then gives up...the soul takes position after that.
