Twisters

Twisters

A Poem by Linda alexander

I like rain and soothing song of rain drops
Love thunderstorm roaring and lightning
Twisters I have to think twice before bonding
My roots are not deep or strong tree says

I understand exactly where this tree is coming from. I’m not sure there’s any amount of preparation that’s ever going to be enough though if the storm is strong enough or hits just right. I do have to admit though, as terrifying as they can be, there is something fascinating about those storms.
