My spring

My spring

A Poem by Linda alexander

White and light blue clouds in the western sky
Yellow birds with big belly roaming in the yard
Two robins on the branches of mulberry tree
Yellow and blue perennials at the fence

You must have beautiful springs there in New York, after the frigid cold of winter. I love how you made reference to the sky, the birds, the mulberry tree and the perennials, in both yellow and blue. It truly paints a picture of spring, one we are all most anticipating!
