From the scratch chapter eight

It was a busy work week in general. I was little bit busier than usual. Mr. John Christinas’ grandfather came to our office. You can even can say both came to the office because Christinas’ grandfather is the boss of all of us and we all work in his company including Justin his grandson and Christina his granddaughter. When he had a meeting with him last week the meeting didn’t go well as some of the projects were like delayed after the meeting and Mr. John asked me to stay for a couple of minutes after the meeting. I thought it may be about the delays at projects. John asked me do I like Christina and I told him I like her as a friend not as a girlfriend. He asked me will I consider making her girlfriend in the future and gradually is there chance she becomes your fiance.I told him there is no chance she will become spouse of mine. I have no interest to make her a spouse because I do not want to take care of my her alcoholism and drug abuse wow! you too straightforward gentleman, you only know her for around two months but I know her 28 years and I know her father for around 60 years and I will never make a statement like that about her.if I have invested lots of my wisdom and toil for her and she proved it became very successful when it comes to her job and academics. I am telling the truth about her just to clear your head from that incident of suicide attempt. She was under treatment for depression and PTSD from career challenges and I was admitted in hospital for pneumonia in the hospital too that particular period. She might have overwhelmed. This is how I’m thinking of her this way an overachiever with affective disorder and had a bad breakup from her boyfriend whom she loved sincerely and worked so hard to maintain the relationship.
Did you apply for the new senior project manager position? I did not I replied very politely. I applied for a part time job in the neighboring IT field. If I get that, I will keep this job part time and I’ll be a full-time employee there and may keep this job as per diem or part time. The exhaustion at work is draining a lot lately especially for the last six months. I’ll be a senior project manager in the new job if I get it and there is a lots of room for me to grow from there even I guess. Good luck with your career and thank you. Chris, I’m not going to tell what you told me to Christina. I respect your honesty. If you change your mind in the future about Christina please tell me too. I had a strong feeling you are her soul mate and destiny came in to play when you saw her at the bridge. If you changing your mind if you will in the future when you tell her please tell me too. That is all . Everything has a reason and when it happens we may not recognize most of the times. Do you know my grandson Justin who works in the same office wit Joanna who is your friend. Of course I see him few times at least on a weekly basis but not close to him. He’s very smart that I heard from Joanna. I know he’s little bit too rude just like his father Edward and when talking about Edward he has a lot of his plate in his plate too
and two adult children not settled and his wife who is not working and nagging always to every one including towards me too is really
stressful. Christina told me that he is very close to you and of course she’s very close to me always and I am very close to her. Did you hear anything about what happened? Chris asked John. I mean two moths back at the bridge. I heard that she tried to jump off the bridge. She tried to take some tablet and overdosed prior to this incident, so this is the second time and thanks a lot for saving my granddaughters’ life. I owe you Chris. You are most welcome.
Can you please let her stay in the apartment for some more period of time even after Joanna comes. I will ask her and I will let you know when she comes back if she wants her own apartment John told me. If you can be her friend at least it will be a real help. she’ll be happy Alaska because three people in that apartment will be too much needs their own space sometimes the apartment don’t discuss anything yet, Joanna to move to another apartment in the same complex that do it with annoying this way Christina can stay with you and it will give me a little piece of mind especially she recently tried to commit suicide. She seemed happy with you. I see what you were talking about, but I can see it later next week then will ask her and if you want, I can ask her too but better you ask her because you also have good relationship with Joanna. If I ask her, Joanna may think I am too close to Christina and we are like a boyfriend girlfriend that’s why I am asking you John so I don’t want that misunderstanding from Joanna. You can ask her and you are Christina’s’ grandfather and her boss too and that is not taking advantage of anything. This is like a better plan. I don’t know how to thank you Chris and really astonished by your openness. You have no problem in telling the truth. Let me go back to my work because there was few projects which are due for completion in few weeks time. Ok thanks again for your time.
