Why me?

Why me?

A Poem by Soren

Suffered falls never broke a bone, rolled my car when the tire was blown
set myself on fire, took the shock from a two hundred and twenty volt wire
had lightening strike a few feet from me yet in all suffered no injury
Others die from such small things, why don't I die from a nest of bee stings?

This poem, it's raw and real. It shows how tough and lucky the speaker is. One can question their life in many ways and you've well expressed your feelings in this one. Atleast that's my point of view. The ending makes the reader think deeply. Nice work. It was interesting reading this. Thanks for sharing.

Woooww Soren what a blessing you suffered no injurys for terrible accidents like that. What a way to take your personal experiences and express them so well into a poem. Great job!! 🤗🤗🤗

Thank you for your read and kind supportive comment it is most appreciated. I just was thinking the other day of what it is that preserves some us and others no. How life is either luck and coincidence or destiny with plot armor.

There's something powerful about how you've taken these intense, life-threatening experiences and shaped them into something that almost sounds like a riddle or incantation. Well done. AP x
