Running....

                desperately

            turning,

                twisting,

                    striding,

                        reaching,

                                                                                     to grab onto,

                                                               a hint of you.

Chasing after.......

                                            wind,

                    smoke,

                       spirit,

                          shadow,

                                illusion........???

No, i know you are real.

 

i have, held you in my arms....

       kissed your blessed forehead,

                                   your lively cheeks,

                                                your warm lips.

i know, you are living.

 

i have discovered life from you.....

       been calmed under your breath,

                                      healed on your lap,

                                             awakened by your love.

No, this can’t be a mere mirage

or some game mind plays.

No.   Oh....

Yes here,

                i feel your palms......

                fingers......

No. No Stop.

Stop, don’t go.

Here i pull you......stay,

            submit to my arms’ will.

i can almost feel my heart warm up to race,

delighted at this familiar embrace.....Nooooo.

So intense a dream a dream… how can it NOT be real? The rush of words… the visual cascade of the layout… a dream captured in words… A dream filled of longing and desire and hope, dashed by the sudden rudeness of waking. Very well penned. I think this might be the best of your work I've read.
