The Last Day on Earth

A strange being shows me the last day on earth

Waking up on the outskirts of an unfamiliar city, I see a strange being. He tells me that he's from the scorched planet. For some reason I understand the gibberish this faceless creature is saying. He tells me of what happened to his planet. How they sped up their doomsday. His sharp, strange, alien words squirm into my mind and dance around, beckoning to put the puzzle together.  Why is he telling me of his planet? Is he warning me? Is there a lesson that this thing wants me to learn?

"Your world will become mine", he says. What's that supposed to mean? As I look closer at the city, I see a bright light flickering from the center of the city? The light grows brighter and expands. The foreign tongued man fades away and as I watch the light turn red. It expands and gets closer. And closer. And closer. This is the next scorched planet.
