In these times,
people no longer fear wrongdoing
because their own conscience
already whispers the truth to them.
Yet instead of changing,
they hide behind excuses
to protect themselves from shame.

They wound others,
then ask,
“Did I hurt you?”

They betray hearts,
then say,
“I never cheated you.”

They speak lies with smiling faces,
then defend themselves with,
“Did I ever say that?”

And so evil hides itself
beneath clever words,
while goodness stands alone
accused and misunderstood.

Those who carry darkness inside
often try to break
the ones who walk with honesty,
because they believe
goodness is weakness
and cruelty is victory.

But before your own conscience,
and before God,
truth cannot be hidden.
A lie remains a lie.
A cheat remains a cheat.
And evil cannot wear a holy face forever.

The saddest pain
is when a soul
who struggled to protect her worth
with kindness and pure intention
is painted wicked
through the blasphemy of others.

Yet there comes a moment
when silence becomes strength.
There is no need
to prove yourself
to those who already know their wrongs
but choose blindness instead.

One day destiny itself
will reveal to them
how deeply they wounded others.
Even those who stood beside them
will feel embarrassment,
regret,
and guilt.

So I say to every heart
that still believes in goodness:
do not abandon your path.
Do not let darkness
teach you to become dark.

One day,
God Himself
will honor your truth,
your patience,
and your goodness.
